Water Filtration

UFH successfully raised the initial capital that the United Hearts Children Center needed to cover the cost of materials, supplies, and ancillary expenses to sustain its Water Filtration Project. Securing this capital made it possible for United Hearts Children Center to terminate its reliance on franchise agreements. These franchise agreements had previously come with a hefty cost, as the franchisor provided necessary monthly supplies for clean water production (filters, storage satchels, and transportation bags) in exchange for a substantial franchise fee, sometimes as much as 88% of the profit from water sales.

By removing the franchisor, United Hearts Children Center established full independent control of the Water Filtration Project, allowing it to secure the income needed to provide the children it supports with daily meals, clean water, and healthcare.
